Safety first – due to the civil war-like conditions in the USA, we, the Bavarian oompah band Bergvagabunden, must unfortunately decline all requests for Oktoberfest events in the USA in 2026.
From a German perspective, the USA has already been dangerous in the past due to the large number of firearms in circulation and the associated deaths. Because ICE and the Trump administration currently seem to be threatening civil war, it would be irresponsible to travel to the USA. We regret this decision and wish the American people all the best for a return to normality – because we like our friends in low places.
